The agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and Therality, Inc., the company that operates JustMakeTheQRCode.com. By using the site or buying a custom download, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or make a purchase.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to make a purchase. If you use the site for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.

What this site does

The site creates static QR codes containing the information you provide. Plain black-and-white SVG and PNG downloads are free. Approved colors, module shapes, and an optional logo are available as custom static QR code files for a one-time $3 purchase. There are no subscriptions.

A downloaded static QR code works independently of this site. We do not host its destination, route scans through a redirect, track scans, or switch off a file after download. A static code cannot be edited through the site after you download it.

Your content, your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the text, URL, Wi-Fi details, logo, and other material you put into a QR code. You confirm that you have the rights and permission needed to use that material.

You may not use the site to:

• Create unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious content.
• Infringe someone else’s intellectual-property or privacy rights.
• Distribute malware or impersonate another person or business.
• Interfere with the site, probe its security, or use automated access that places an unreasonable load on it.

We may block access or refuse a purchase when reasonably needed to stop misuse, protect the site, or comply with the law.

Using your QR code files

You may use QR code files downloaded from the site for lawful personal or commercial purposes. You keep any rights you already have in the content and logos you provide. We keep the rights to the site, its software, design, copy, branding, and other materials we provide.

Test the finished QR code at its final size and in its intended setting before printing, publishing, or relying on it. Changes to size, contrast, material, lighting, damage, or the encoded destination can affect whether it works.

Custom purchases

A custom download costs $3 once. Freemius processes the payment and shows any required tax and the final total before you pay. You confirm that your payment and billing information is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.

We may refuse or cancel an order because of a pricing or product error, suspected fraud, an unauthorized transaction, a legal requirement, or a technical problem that prevents fulfillment. If we cancel after charging you, we will refund the charge.

Refunds

You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. See our Refund Policy for the short version and how to ask. These Terms do not limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.

Third-party services

The site uses third parties for services such as payment processing and may link to websites we do not control. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use their services. We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, or availability.

Availability and changes

We may fix, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the site. We do not promise that the site will always be available or error-free. None of those changes disables a static QR code file you already downloaded.

No promises we cannot make

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so those exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Therality, Inc. and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill arising from the site or your use of a QR code.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the site or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us through the site during the 12 months before the claim or $100. Where the law does not allow a limitation, it applies only to the maximum extent permitted.

Governing law and disputes

Maryland law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a legal claim, please contact us and give us a reasonable chance to resolve the problem informally. Nothing in these Terms takes away mandatory rights or protections that apply where you live.

A few final legal bits

If one part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. A failure to enforce a term once is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later. These Terms, together with the policies they link to, are the entire agreement about your use of the site and replace earlier agreements on that subject.

Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the site or the law changes. We will post the new version here, update the date above, and make reasonable efforts to provide notice before a material change takes effect. Your continued use after the new Terms take effect means you accept them.
