Straight answers

What the little squares do.

How does it work?

The QR code contains the network name, security type, and—when needed—the password. A compatible camera reads those details and offers to connect.

Which phones work?

Modern iPhone and Android camera apps generally recognize Wi-Fi QR codes. Older devices or alternate camera apps may need a QR scanner or manual setup.

What if the Wi-Fi changes?

Make a new code when the network name, password, or security setting changes. A static QR code cannot rewrite itself.

Does the code expire?

No. The file keeps working, but old credentials stop connecting after you change the network. This version does not cover enterprise/EAP or WPA3-only networks.

Healthy boundaries

Your network details stay in this browser.

QR generation, testing, customization, and file creation happen on this device. Your SSID, password, and encoded Wi-Fi payload are not sent to analytics, our server, Freemius, or another third party. The password is still inside the downloaded code, so share it like a password.
